About me

Dear Games Lover,

My name is Matt and I take the best Board Game Shots.

On this site you can find examples of my work. I would like to present to you my standard product pictures (Classic Shots) and fancy ones (Creative Shots), so you can judge it for and then pick the best option for you. However, before you click away to check my little world of photos, I would like to tell you my short story.

I am here because I'm a geek, player and I love board games.
Ameri, Euro, Family or Card - doesn’t matter. I always have a great time playing and I can find something unique in each title. Thus, I’m never bored when I work with games. And, if you want to participate in my daily journey you can always check my Instagram profile.

My second superpower is that I know how to take great shots.
Everyone can take a decent picture, but I always thrive to take it one step further. I love to capture stories within frames, share the feelings of the game instead of just taking another standard photo shoot. And of course if you want to follow along just visit my Facebook profile.

Thanks to my skills, passion and happy clients I created BoardGameShot. Since then, I have been able to make a living doing what I love and which I am very proud of. And what is even better, not only me. Here you can see some prizes and distinctions that I have won with my pictures of your games.

1) 1st place XII International Boardgame Photography Award 2019 is being organised by the cultural association Jugamos Tod@s as part of the activities of the International Games Festival Cordoba 2019

2) BGG - Picture of the year 2019

3) BGG - Photo hall of fame member

That's the reason why each shoot is always a new challenge for me and a proof that I use a customized approach to every one of them. That’s because my clients simply deserve to be treated seriously and individually.

On the following pages you will get a glimpse of my passion forged into pictures, and if you want me to personally capture the essence of your game just let me know - I’ll do my best.

Best regards,

Matt
